It is funny how i was thinking along these lines and then
i finally decided to start watching^^ the show without knowing what it is about

and the thought i was having was about the future of sport

because with technology
it will soon become common place or will it

for those who follow football this has been the case over a certain subject

goal line technology
for technology is used outside of the game but not directly in the game
except for the substitution extra time electronics board
and the radio pieces with the referees and fourth officials

and it was only a short time before that food science and all the apparatus that goes with it
was being utilised in the beautiful game

which got me thinking how far will it go

for what new things will be come through after having its way paved through by goal line technology

for technology is used in a variety of sports from cricket to tennis to snooker
but how far will it go
or could it go

for the most part sports are the centerpieces for human achievement
and altering is seen as criminal and is victimized from
the donned drug cheats

but this idea has been teatering with me prior and others when


when he was allowed to run with able bodied athletes
and this where we meet this anime we find a world albeit for the first episode where a once
human sport is now a techno human sport

and it got me thinking
would i or others watch a techno sport

and i wonder what would happen to certain sport affairs
if technology were allowed in
certain gifts would be obsolete
and right now in most sports
we have a cycle
where as old players go new come in
and in football thirty can be your prime and by forty if you are not a goal keeper you are looking to retire

but with technological advancements
we can dream of or speculate on
that may not be the case

and imagine the football age through technology changed from forty to sixty
or eight
what a shift it could be
yes fans would see their players for a longer time
but what shape would it leave the cycle in
what kind of orbit




for would the philosophy of sport need to change
or would it evolve
or would limiters be put in place
for example you can not use performance enhancing drugs now

but will that always be the case
what if instead of being labelled drug cheats the culture embraces them

what then

and would the not performance drug enhancers
become a niche league
for the purist
but would be less publicized and polarized

imagine a reversal where the able bodied 100 meters was the one least watched and the cheetah legged 100 meters was the one people were in anticipation for

and perhaps as with greek wrestling being dropped by the olympics that too would happen

where their would be retired times

for example a retired time for the usain bolt era
where one would bulk up muscle legitimately and may have natural talent

and then a enhanced drug era
where drugs where rampant but when the body could go no further
they retire that time

and move on to the bionic limb era
where the cheetah leg is adapted and revolutionized as if it were formula one
till maybe it is no longer running but actually flying

but not to go off on the deep end just yet

what of football

for in basquash so far in episode one

and bfb as they call it is all the rage drawing in crowds
the basketball court is empty and abandoned

and that is the scare for many people not in sports as so far yet but with jobs with the rise of technology
people are like


but is it need for war or a time for embracing
for imagine if technology ran rampant in football

it could be like the athletics scene
where we see bionic limbs added on to people
maybe even contacts like in minority report but help you aim your shots and free kicks

Different lifts same floor

I was watching a very strange video
which inspired this post

if it was a rap video
showing the plurality of views
which was a very strange experience

which tied in a lot with a discussion i had the previous weekend
of the variety of views

a few weeks prior i recalled how certain affiliations create sides
but specifically with the martin luther king and malcolm x debate or stance
how some are pro martin luther just because he is christian or publicised
and others malcolm x because he is muslim and not so publicised

though their actions and life styles maybe the opposite
but what the video showed me was the other view
and has been pointed out whatever your stance that both were after the same goal though
it was to different degrees

but back to the video
it was a kind of response to and of the criminal based urban lifestyle

in response to an alternative lifestyle that looks down upon the criminalised element or antithesis
which ties into another thing i discussed that weekend of a
 black middle class and does it exist



the person in question claimed it did not exist
but others would argue against it
some would claim having a nuclear family is a sign of middle class
or would point to a parents profession
did they come home in a suit or a tie
or with a companies logo across their chest

or some would claim that any one who does not work directly with their hands is middle class and up

others would claim income


or even down to the vocabulary at your disposal

it was a tale of the non middle class black or could be urban person
where as the others would look down on them for criminality

first of they do not want to be poor and you only have to go to the local job centre to feel the sombre mood of those on handouts

some may argue they should be more pro active
but they are the same people who say there is a recession on
and hear in the news about unemployment and its rises and falls
and higher education does not necessary mean an escape from class

this is a reality of lots of people
and criminality for people gets the job done
and they will do it whether you vilify them or not
because they need to provide
for their families
it is not as portrayed their addictions

the person rapping paints a picture of a person
who has been to jail and now with a criminal conviction
can not get the work others tell him to do
and rather than fit the role of lazy
is actually being pro active
trying to make things happens
and that he has dreams of what
others take for granted like going on vacations

personally i have met people without passports
and people who have never left their side of the city

and the argument is made that he is working with the tools he has
and though we may look down at him we are on the same floor
which questions are we looking down
essentially vertically or horizontally

i did touch on this in a previous post about a certain police poster

realising we are people at different parts of the same boat

and what are we doing to help

which questioned me on that weekend

that with those people who look vertically which is really horizontally
they escape that lifestyle
but never go back their to pull others out of it

gain wisdom but never share it

for if you the reader opened a business would you hire
felons or those so called straight cut citizens
with degrees
and phds
