What maketh us

i was recently watching this program

i was left with many questions and themes

the episode was called planet of doom for any of you out there who would like to check the source

and aside from touching on time travel
and the implications
and the nit pickings of said mode of transport


it got me thinking on what maketh us

and it was explored through the medium of possible worlds
but it got me thinking what makes us
and without going to much into the butterfly effect

 how much would or could an effect have on us
like imagine if we went to different schools lived in an adjacent house
or area
how profound might that be

but also another thing that was brought up
was that knowledge is power
though many people think it is money
but yes knowledge is power
and
in the episode doom

who has turned the statue of liberty into a statue of himself in this other time stream
has gone back in time
and used his fore knowledge
to make sure the hulk never becomes so
and tony stark never becomes iron man
and he has them actually working for him to have dominion over the world


and he surmises that the power maketh the man not the man maketh the powers
and without their powers they are just human

and his worry is thor one because he has power but he also has the same knowledge as he
since he was outside of the time reversal

but he has been preparing for him

and if we step outside of the marvel universe for a minute

might that be perhaps a similar scenario for us
not the time travel bit
but being uprooted from knowledge
and therefore our power

and without knowledge we can see the scales could be turned
like lions being synonymous with coward
or africa with a dearth of history knowledge or wealth

and even in the episode
you saw doom wearing a modified suit made for him by iron man
yet iron man did not have a suit

and he made bruce banner
fear the element that would make him the powerful hulk


and that knowledge is power he even was present at some of the scenes of their victories
or gaining powers
and he stepped in as if he was saving them but it was quite the opposite

and it made me want to study history
but also question how else i could of ended up

for like captain america he kept him in the ice he was frozen in as a sculpture above his throne
akin to the story of damocles

but with the avengers who were not in servitude they were renegades
but muted to an extent

such as spider man was named slinger and he had no spider powers
but used machinery
and falcon was still a tech genius but his design was different
and hawkeye was the same but more serious than comedic

in the end the surmised the man maketh the powers

i will leave that for our deliberation

African or black or dark philosophers

You find many posts or can find them 

asking about african or black philosophers

but then again what is black or african philosophy and are they synonomous

for some the term black is very loose that mixed raced people or even anyone with african descent is black 

though they may not look it 

or it could be more idealogical as being in a certain sphere

like eminem makes black music 

because hiphop is black music

but definitions are mountaintops of which we may have different view points

for the philosopher above is albert camus

a french speaker

descendant from the northern part of africa

ergo an african philosopher

by default

but may not be an african philosopher in regards to subject matter an approach

so yh it gets tricky 

depending if all the criterion matter

to you

and that ethnicity means all for you

or just one needs to be fulfilled

but not to get bogged down in matters of validity

african philosophers

many posters of such questions

do so for lack of alternate history 

or a depth of history

where if someone 

was to quote a philosopher

or a poc

person of colour

it would not be a person who lived more than 500 years ago

or 100

to be generalistic

which boils down 

to the elephant in the room

and colonialism

and eurocentrisim

short answer is of course there are

but another thing to be thrown in the mix

what do we count as philosophy

many throw out martin luther

otherwise we are talking about the german martin luther which totally irrelevant

and possibly his antithesis

where as i would call malcolm or malik

a philosopher 

it may be of some sort

for it comes down to what is a philosopher

one who follows a philosophical principle

or one who knows philosophical concepts

or wonders and ponders

or perhaps one who writes or retorts philosophy

of a original point of view

and in that case i would call malcolm sorry malik 

one more on the last point

and in a terms of african philosopher is subject matter breached 

africa as well

so he could be a double certified one

such as african african philosopher

but not be diverted again

and one person i would recommend is

and if you dont know him

and then there is an argument

can there be specific types

of philosophies

or science

but yeah answer of course there are 

but we must uncover the history and find pre colonial africa

 and not be bogged down 

by one 

afrocentric labelling

for any line of specific search is centric

are they saying you shouldnt

which begs the question why

for in the search of knowledge and balance someone should

and i bet the person who is calling you that 

is not alleviating you from that title 

by wiling to do it themselves

but yeah in a winding down fashion

if you are in the search for even more contemporary

or just a name to say 

to be all hipster

like i bet you never read

ahh wait it sounds to much like a sales technique

another thing which must be down is places or forums where people can find dark or african philosophers with relative ease

since google is to vast 

and with that 

we should see more philosophers

come to the furore

information is key

it is good we first ask this question next it is the point of making these people known 

and our word or philosophical
